Course Overview

Meeting the needs of your students rests on ensuring you have built the best possible candidate pool so that candidates are ready before vacancies even arise. But with the decline in teachers being trained through traditional teacher preparation programs and increasing number of teacher vacancies, there is more competition than ever before. In this course you’ll learn how to build a strong pipeline of the teachers your students need and consider how to improve your efforts from your first point of contact all the way through selection.

This course is designed as an individual and community learning experience. There will be opportunities for individual learning and action-planning, as well as time for sharing and feedback from other participants who are also HR leaders across the country. For those interested in participating with fellow team members, we recommend you work together on action-planning.

  • Analyzed your recruitment and selection efforts and prioritized strategies to improve

  • Gained practical tools you can use to best support Principals with recruitment and selection
